Flowers have held a special place in my heart for a long time - long before Bonnie Blooms was a thing. My love of blooms, my Granny Pat and my need to be creative has brought me to where I am today…
I love beach walks, hill walks, pottering, holidays, spending time with my family, bold-colours and swooning over Scandi styling on Pinterest - the easy, chilled life.
Things I'm less enthusiastic about (if you know, you know) moths, coriander, hayfever season, beige minimalist aesthetic and alarm clocks - contradictory to my florist career which is centred around early wholesaler trips or wedding morning set ups!
where does Bonnie Blooms come from
Bonnie Blooms takes its name from my Scottish heritage, where bonnie means pretty or beautiful, paired with Blooms for obvious reasons.
The business was inspired by my Granny Pat and memories of time spent in my grandparents’ garden growing up. Flowers and gardening were always (and still are) part of life there - whether I was making miniature gardens for the local Flower Show or being given my own flower bed to design during the school holidays. It’s where my love of flowers, colour and creating things all started.
Flowers were always part of the plan and now we’re here… and I’m so lucky!

It’s about what you like and what you want to feel - not the latest trends or being perfectly polished if that’s not what you like. Your flowers should reflect you and what you love - not a version of what a wedding ‘should’ look like.
